The Founder’s Office participated in the cultural event organized by the UAE Embassy in Kuwait under the title “UAE Cultural Nights in Kuwait”, as part of its commitment to supporting national initiatives and highlighting the poetic legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The event was organized in collaboration with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) in Kuwait, coinciding with Kuwait’s designation as the Capital of Arab Culture and Media for 2025, and as part of efforts to enhance cultural relations between the two countries.
Held over three days, from May 5 to May 7, 2025, the event reflected the Founder’s Office’s dedication to supporting national events and preserving the poetic legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This was showcased during the main ceremony, held at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre.
The participation featured a musical performance set to the rhythm of the traditional Kuwaiti Samri style, inspired by his famous poem about falconry. It also included a special song celebrating the deep affection for Kuwait and the authenticity of its leadership and people.
The participation further included the composition and recital of a Nabati poem, expressing the enduring legacy of Sheikh Zayed and the profound bonds of brotherhood between the leadership and people of the UAE and Kuwait.
Throughout its three-day duration and across several venues, the event celebrated the richness and depth of Emirati culture and heritage through traditional arts and folklore performances, a visual arts exhibition by Emirati artists, a theatrical show, and a variety of cultural activities that reflected the diversity of the cultural scene in the United Arab Emirates.
